RE: Two Sametime servers using LDAP and DD - possible? ~Dean Rejipysonakoi 6.Feb.08 01:34 PM a Web browser Server 7.5.1Windows
Jeld!
I read you found out the configuration is not supprted but to just answer this side-issue: Sametime server in the same Domino Domain will be able to see each other as they can look up other servers via the Domino Directory. You might have noticed that each Sametime server get's a field set in it's server document that indicates it is a Sametime server.
But, for these servers to be able to actually talk to each other you have to set the configuration to trust other servers's IP addresses. Otherwise they will not be able to make a server-type to server conenction for security reasons. This is done in the STCONFIG.NSF / Community Connectivity document. If a server does not find the other server's IP address listed here it will refuse the connection - you can find the errors listed in the sametime.log
